In-App Help
EDU Mileage+ includes a built-in Help section covering setup, tracking, reports, subscriptions, and troubleshooting.
Open it in the app: Settings tab → Help. Browse 7 topics with detailed answers to common questions.
Common Topics
- Tracking isn't working Make sure Location permission is set to Always in Settings → EDU Mileage+ → Location, and that the app is running during your scheduled work hours.
- I need to recover my data Open Settings → Data & Sync → Restore from iCloud. Your trips, sites, and reports sync to your private iCloud account automatically.
- Subscription & billing Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone to view, change, or cancel.
- Restore Purchases If your subscription isn't recognized after reinstalling, open the app's Subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases.
- Adding a second district Settings → Manage Districts → +. Each additional district requires the District Add-On subscription.
- Privacy & data EDU Mileage+ has no servers. Trip data, GPS routes, and personal info live only on your device and in your private iCloud. See the Privacy Policy.
Reporting Bugs
When emailing about a bug, the following details help fix it faster:
- iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- App version (Settings → About in EDU Mileage+)
- What you were doing when the issue happened
- Whether it's reproducible — does it happen every time?
